Greetings from the De La Salle Canlubang school community!
Trying something new is never easy but often it is what needs to happen. Our LINGAP scholarship program is both new and old in that it commits to help make Lasallian education accessible. It is new because our LINGAP students are mainstreamed with our regular students. It is new because we provide not only full scholarship assistance but all the expenses necessary to support the scholar persevere until he or she graduates.
It is old because it is a mission begun by St. John Baptist de La Salle and is the guiding spirit in De La Salle Philippines' goal of reaching 20 % full scholars in all our 18 schools by 2011.
Following the adage of Helen Keller, a famous deaf educator:
"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much"
I invite you to join us and invest in the Lasallian education of our Filipino youth, imbued with talent and promise and may this lead to a renewed Philippines.
